Scholarship Program 2019-2020

The Scholarship Program of the Municipality of San Rafael, “Iskolar ng Bayan”, for the School Year 2019-2020 have provided assistance to 760 beneficiaries. The program provides financial support to qualified college students from San Rafael. The grantees were subjected to a selection process whereby applicants were given qualifying examination to determine who will be given the assistance. They were also required to submit documents such as school records, certification from the Barangay Chairman as evidence of their residence. The grantees were given Php 4,000 each. The financial assistance were given on a semestral basis.
The Scholarship Program is part of the Municipal Mayor Cipriano D. Violago, Jr. Ten Point Development Agenda for his last term in office, 2019-2022.
The second semester financial assistance was released last March 1, 2020. Municipal Administrator, Bernabe D. Violago, represented the mayor with the Municipal Vice Mayor, Edison M. Veneracion, Members of the Sangguniang Bayan and assisted by selected municipal employees.
